Non Point Source Best Management Practice Team
The Sheyenne James RC&D Council, Inc. is the proud sponsor of the Non Point Source Best Management Practice (BMP) Team. This team was formed in 1997 through partnerships with the EPA 319 program, ND Department of Health, Wetlands Trust, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Stutsman Jobs Development Corp. and local SCD and Water Resource Boards in the RC&D council nine county area. It is supported annually by the local Soil Conservation Districts and Water Resource Boards in the assistance area.
The Sheyenne James RC&D Council, Inc. has contracted with K2S Engineering, Inc., Ypsilanti, ND for all the BMP Team engineering needs. K2S Engineering Inc. is a small engineering firm near Jamestown, North Dakota. It is a family owned business that specializes in Agricultural Waste Systems, Pipelines, Water Management, Site and Road Design, Shoreline and Stream Bank Restorations, Soil and Water Conservation Practices, Environmental Assessments and Impacts, Wetland Delineations and Assessments. Shane Kjellberg is the Professional Engineer and Brian Markegard is staff engineer for the firm. K2S Engineering, Inc.
