The Dakota West governing body (Council) consists of two types of membership; Regular and At-Large; and can be from counties, cities, towns, soil conservation districts, special purpose districts, and nonprofit organizations within the boundaries of the area. If your organization is interested in becoming a member of Dakota West, please contact the Council office.

The Council regularly meets on the second Monday during January, April, July and October.
